FT Technologies appoints Icetek as Canadian distributor

FT Technologies, manufacturer of acoustic resonance wind sensors for wind turbine control, has signed a non-exclusive aftermarket distribution agreement with Instrumentation Icetek Inc. Under this agreement, Icetek will retain a stock of FT Technologies’ wind sensors to enable rapid deployment to wind turbine operators throughout Canada.

FT Technologies appoints Kurz Wind as North American distributor

FT Technologies collaborates with Anemo Analytics to provide weather station upgrades to improve turbine performance

FT Technologies has today signed a collaboration agreement with Anemo Analytics. Under the agreement, both parties will work together to provide weather station upgrades for existing wind turbines, enabling remote diagnostics capabilities and performance improvements for both onshore and offshore turbines.

APQP4Wind appoints Senior Quality Engineer at FT Technologies as Country Ambassador for the UK

APQP4Wind, the non-profit association founded by wind turbine manufacturers and suppliers to develop a quality assurance standard within the Wind Industry, has appointed Arefeh Taghikhani as its new Country Ambassador for the UK. Arefeh is Senior Quality Engineer at FT Technologies, the manufacturer of ultrasonic wind sensors which supplies the leading turbine manufacturers globally.

FT co-authors paper on wind measurement in multi-rotor sUAV

Along with leading scholars from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, FT's Gordon Bease, Director - Global Accounts, has co-authored a paper entitled "Development of a sensor suite for atmospheric boundary layer measurement with a small multirotor unmanned aerial system" which has been published in International Journal of Aviation, Aeronautics, and Aerospace.
