The FT028 is a replacement O-ring for the FT702-PM, FT722-PM and FT742-PM range of wind sensors. The O-ring is fitted above the connector, within the grooved housing that mates with the FT090 mechanical adaptor. The O-ring is fitted as standard during manufacture to provide additional water ingress protection. In the event of damage (or general replacement), it can be replaced with care by a technician using tweezers.
The FT742-PM sensor is intended for installation on the FT090 Pipe Mount adaptor FT090 Pipe Mount Adaptor . The O-ring location is marked below:
